What skill level is Guitar Magic for? Is it too much for me as a Beginner or too weak for me as an Advanced guitar player? How about somewhere in-between?

Guitar Magic starts from the beginning and continues to a World Class Level. It covers this skill level range for a reason. Many guitarists who consider themselves to be intermediate players will find that our beginner course teaches them material they should have learned and never did. Advanced guitarists will find that they may not be as advanced as they thought and that there is much to refine them into a world class player. Beginners get the luck of starting out right to begin with and won't even know how good they have it until they start playing with others and find out the value of what they have been learning. Most guitar players fall somewhere in-between these two skill levels. They feel they are "missing the boat" and feel the common experience of the "frustrated guitarist". From beginner to professional, no matter what style of music that you are interested in, you will find Guitar Magic to be very rewarding.

There are plenty of music education products out there, where you can purchase and spend and purchase and spend and still not get anywhere. We could split Guitar Magic into a number of separate products to get more bang for the buck, but we don't feel that we could deliver to you a quality product by having our teaching system broken up into pieces.

Is it for acoustic guitar or electric guitar? I am not interested in learning electric guitar, is this for acoustic guitar as well?

A commonly asked question about learning the guitar is whether there is a difference between learning electric versus acoustic guitar. This system is designed to teach a person to master the guitar. From the beginning or any level thereafter. No matter what style of music you are interested in, from classical to rock, you need to learn the same material.

We teach the guitar so a student can play any style they want. We use an electric guitar in all of our video clips. When we show fingerpicking on the guitar, we use an electric guitar. It is the same whether you fingerpick on an electric or acoustic. A steel string acoustic is harder on the fingers in general than the strings of an electric guitar. There are some tricks and techniques that you would use on an electric guitar because of the nature of amplification and available effects. A nylon string acoustic isn't going to be the first choice in playing rock or metal. But the fundamental knowledge, musical application and fretboard mastery are the same.

Don't worry about what kind of guitar you have, just learn the instrument and whatever style and sound you want to gravitate towards will become easier as you learn to master music and the guitar.

I have been playing guitar for years and feel that I am not getting anywhere. What will Guitar Magic do for me?

Most of the people who purchase Guitar Magic have been playing for many years. 20 years is common. But the guitar is a complex instrument and it is easy for the years to pass without really accomplishing much of anything, not to mention even coming close to achieving a high level of virtuosity with the guitar.

Think of it this way, many ideas that appear to be very complex, are really simple ideas presented in a convoluted manner that turn simplicity into complexity. So it is no wonder that many guitarists get the attitude which says "I don't really want to become that good", or "I don't want to spend my life studying the instrument", or "I just want to play some songs, learning is boring". What is the best overall description of Guitar Magic and how does Guitar Magic compare to other guitar education products?

There are 2 primary differences:

First, think of the difference between someone who has completed a 4 year college degree in finance versus someone who has completed a 3 hour seminar in finance. The level of education you will receive between a 4 year degree versus a 3 hour seminar is not comparable. It's an attempt to compare apples and oranges. That is why Guitar Magic is not comparable to other guitar education products. Guitar Magic is the 4 year degree versus the 3 hour seminar.

This product provides a level of education like going to a music school. How many products can you buy to learn guitar and add up how many of them you have to buy to reach the cost of this product? Include everything: books, videos, software, lessons. Then ask yourself this: if you purchased the equivalent number of products equal to just buying this one product, what would you get out of them? If you are a beginner who has never spent money on learning the guitar, you will have a harder time understanding what we are talking about here. For the rest of you, this is a moot point. Even if you are willing to spend thousands and thousands of dollars, chances are you won't get the results that you are seeking.
